I had the absoltue joy of being interviewed as one of many Black voices in the Anime Industry for Black History Month this year. It’s a wonder to be considered a Black voice of any level of prominence in the industry, but also… I’m a journalist with hundreds of articles and reviews and features and perspective pieces under my belt: I think I’ve more than arrived, and I’m thankful to be able to celebrate it and hopefully, throw open the door for my fellow anime Blerds in 2022 and beyond!
